We meet each dancer—whether from a competitive or conservatory background—at their current stage of development. Our dedicated faculty journey alongside every student, recognizing their individuality, fostering growth, and challenging them to reach their highest potential.

Often described as a "breath of fresh air" by dancers, parents, teachers, and directors, all Francisco Gella Dance Works programs share one core mission: to transform dedicated young dancers into remarkable human beings and exceptional artists.

We believe in nurturing all dancers, regardless of body type or background; inspiring them to embrace the idea that anything is possible with hard work, purpose, and courage.

About Ballet+ (Beyond Technique)

Fostering technical skill, artistic growth and individual transformation for ten years!

Renowned choreographer and dance educator Francisco Gella has transformed the training journey for thousands of dancers worldwide through his innovative philosophy, delivered via intensives, masterclasses, and personalized instruction. For a decade, young dancers have immersed themselves in a full seven-day experience with Francisco and his team through our unique program, Ballet+ (Beyond Technique), which debuted in Miami.

Ballet+ goes beyond a typical summer intensive. It’s a thoughtfully crafted curriculum built on a transformative idea, rooted in Francisco’s extensive 30-year dance career and his expertise as a gymnastics coach. His holistic approach integrates spirituality, psychology, physiology, and kinesthetic awareness, fostering not only versatile and well-rounded dancers but also individuals who lead with integrity and purpose. The results are consistently remarkable, with dancers achieving significant growth in just one week.

Designed to accelerate the development of youth and collegiate dancers, our curriculum equips them for a successful summer—whether attending an intensive, competing nationally, or honing their skills at home in preparation for college programs or professional auditions.

Under the mentorship of expert faculty, each with deep real-world experience in education, training, performance, and choreography, participants quickly gain a heightened awareness of the body-mind connection. No matter their prior experience, dancers grow beyond their expectations, taking one big step closer to reaching their full potential.

Highly-acclaimed choreographer and dance educator Francisco Gella has introduced his revolutionary philosophy and approach to dance training to thousands of dancers around the world through intensives, masterclasses, and individual instruction. For seven years since the introduction of our program in Miami, young dancers have had the opportunity to spend eight-days with Francisco and his team through this innovative program called Ballet+ (beyond technique).

Ballet+ is much more than an intensive. It’s a powerful idea and a transformative experience. The program is based on his extensive thirty-year dance career and his background in gymnastics coaching. With an integrated teaching approach, he incorporates spirituality, psychology, physiology, and kinesthetic awareness – all toward developing dancers into holistic and versatile performers and most importantly, human beings. The results are astounding.

Our carefully designed curriculum accelerates the learning of children, youth, and pre-professionals, and assists them in being fully prepared and motivated for a successful summer of dance experiences – whether going to an intensive, a national competition or staying at your home studio to train in preparation for a college dance program or professional audition.

With the guidance and knowledge of expert faculty mentors, each with years of experience dedicated to education, training, performance, and choreography, young dancers quickly become more aware of their own body and the mind’s connection to it. Regardless of how long they’ve been dancing, participants grow more than they likely ever believed they could and get closer to realizing their full potential.
