The Art of Resistance in Your Work and Use of Plié
Going back to our plié class, how to use the plié properly, plus how to resist the air around you with your feet, plié, arms, your overall dance work in general. When you use resistance in your work, the body parts develop properly, and the articulation in your work is ever present.
CLASS NOTES TO STUDENTS:
– The class is recommended for any beginning/intermediate or advanced dancer with a solid, basic understanding of ballet fundamentals.
– A barre or home barre alternative is required.
– If you cannot take this class live, you can register and take the class on your own up until the end of day Monday following this current week of classes. Videos will be available the same evening after the class has been streamed.
