Frequently called a ‘breath of fresh air’ by students, parents, teachers and directors alike, every one of Francisco Gella’s programs delivers on a central commitment: To transform hardworking young adults into remarkable young artists regardless of body type or background, and instilling a belief in them that anything is possible with hard work, a sense of purpose, and a willingness to take risks.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
Highly acclaimed dance educator and choreographer Francisco Gella has introduced his revolutionary dance training technique and philosophy to hundreds of dancers around the world through private instruction and master classes. And now preprofessional dancers from college age to 8 years old have an opportunity to spend challenging and fun three-day training camp in beautiful Los Angeles. New Years Training Camp is a rigorous new holistic program that is structured to accelerate your training as a dancer, inspire you to go much further in your journey during the year ahead, and want more for your future. The technique-based program will focus on strengthening the body, mind and spirit with a structured curriculum that will build on skills each day, resulting in opportunities to demonstrate your detailed artistry before the three days are complete.
Classes will be limited to no more than 50 dancers per group. Students will be broken into two age groups – ages 8-12, and 13 and older.
A limited amount of scholarships are available for especially deserving dancers. Scholarships will be allocated according to combined consideration of both merit and financial need.
To apply for a scholarship, please send the following information by email to email@example.com. Decisions on scholarships will be made on a rolling basis and a limited amount of scholarship awards will be offered, so it is better to apply early.
